Payment Terms
Effective June 18, 2025
1. Platform Pricing
The BookMyService platform is provided at no cost to merchants. EverExpanse Technologies LLC does not charge:
- Platform subscription fees or monthly licensing fees
- Setup fees or onboarding fees for standard deployments
- Per-booking fees or per-appointment charges
- Fees for platform updates or maintenance
- Fees for standard customer support
White-label deployments and enterprise implementations may be subject to separate commercial agreements. Contact us at info@bookmyservice.us for enterprise pricing.
2. Payment Processing
BookMyService facilitates online payment acceptance by integrating approved third-party payment gateways — including PayArc, NMI, and other partners — via secure embedded iframe. This architecture means:
- BookMyService does not process payments. We are not a payment processor, payment facilitator, merchant of record, ISO, or acquiring bank.
- BookMyService does not store, transmit, or have access to cardholder data. Payment card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, and expiration dates flow directly to and remain within the gateway partners' PCI DSS-certified environments.
- BookMyService does not hold, settle, or disburse merchant funds. Fund settlement is handled entirely by your payment gateway and acquiring bank per your merchant account agreement.
Your relationship with your payment gateway and acquiring bank is separate from your relationship with BookMyService and is governed by your merchant account agreement with those providers.
3. Gateway Fees & Charges
All costs associated with accepting online payments are determined solely by your payment provider and merchant account agreement. These may include:
- Per-transaction processing fees (typically a percentage plus a fixed amount per transaction)
- Interchange fees charged by card-issuing banks (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express)
- Card network assessment fees
- Monthly gateway access or statement fees from gateway provider
- Chargeback fees charged by your acquiring bank
- Currency conversion fees (not applicable for U.S.-only transactions)
BookMyService does not add any markup, surcharge, or fee on top of gateway charges. The fees you pay are set entirely by your payment provider's rate schedule and your negotiated merchant account terms. We have no visibility into and no control over those fees.

4. Merchant Account Requirements
To accept online payments through BookMyService, you must:
- Maintain a valid merchant account with an approved gateway partner (PayArc, NMI, or another approved provider)
- Complete payment gateway provider's merchant onboarding and KYB (Know Your Business) verification process
- Operate a legitimate business type permitted under our Acceptable Use Policy
- Maintain compliance with applicable card network rules (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express operating regulations)
- Keep your merchant account in good standing with gateway provider
Online payment acceptance through the Platform is optional. Merchants who choose not to accept online payments can still use all Platform features and collect payments by cash, check, or other offline methods.
5. Payment Methods & Workflows
BookMyService supports the following payment configurations, subject to gateway partner's capabilities:
Online Payment Workflows
- Pay Now — customers pay in full at the time of booking
- Deposit / Partial Payment — customers pay a deposit at booking; the balance is collected at the time of service
- Pay at Location — no payment collected online; customers pay in person
Accepted Payment Methods (subject to gateway support)
- Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express)
- Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay — where supported by gateway)
- QR code payments (where supported by gateway)
- ACH / bank transfer (where supported by gateway)
Available payment methods depend on the payment gateway partner's product offerings and your merchant account configuration. BookMyService does not guarantee the availability of any specific payment method.
6. Refunds & Disputes
You are solely responsible for your refund and cancellation policies. Your policies must be:
- Clearly displayed on your BookMyService storefront and booking pages
- Compliant with applicable consumer protection laws
- Consistent with your merchant account agreement's requirements
Refunds are initiated through your payment gateway or merchant dashboard. Refund processing times depend on payment gateway provider and the customer's card-issuing bank (typically 3–10 business days). BookMyService does not process, fund, or guarantee refunds.
Chargebacks and disputes are handled between you, your acquiring bank, and payment gateway provider according to your merchant account agreement and applicable card network rules. You are responsible for responding to chargebacks in a timely manner. BookMyService may provide booking records and appointment history from your account to assist with dispute evidence upon your request.
Excessive chargeback rates may result in restrictions or termination of your merchant account by payment gateway provider. BookMyService is not liable for chargeback-related losses or merchant account actions taken by gateway partners.
7. Reserves & Holds
Your payment gateway or acquiring bank may, at their discretion, establish a reserve on your account — holding a portion of your settlement funds as protection against potential chargebacks, fraud, or compliance issues. Reserve requirements, if any, are set entirely by payment gateway provider under the terms of your merchant account agreement.
BookMyService does not set, manage, or have access to any reserve funds associated with your merchant account.
8. Geographic Scope
Online payment processing through BookMyService is available to merchants operating in the United States, subject to your payment gateway partner's licensing, compliance requirements, and availability by state.
EverExpanse makes no representation that online payment processing is available or compliant in all U.S. states. Some states may have specific requirements for payment service providers or merchant account holders. You are responsible for ensuring your payment activities comply with all applicable state and federal laws in the jurisdictions where you operate.
9. Changes to Payment Terms
We may update these Payment Terms from time to time, particularly as we onboard new gateway partners or change our business model. For material changes, we will provide at least thirty (30) days' advance notice by email or by prominent notice on the Platform.
Payment gateway partner's fee schedules and merchant account terms are outside our control and may change independently in accordance with your agreement with them.
